It was believed for many years that dogs could only see in black and white but more recent studies have proven differently. Dogs can in fact see in different colors its the color range in which they see that is limited.

Dogs can see a limited range of colors, including blue & green, not as large a range as we do. It is not true that they only see in black & white.
For us to say what dogs see is just arrogant!! Who really knows..honestly..how many of us have seen the world through a dogs eyes?
It has recently been found that dogs can see all hews of color but they're very muted, not as bright or high contrasted as WE see them.
They can actually see a limited range of colors. Not just red, black, and white. Some green and blue. Not as much as we do, but it was proven.
