First thing to do is to turn on the ignition switch with your car key. Then Wait for the airbag warning light to turn off, this usually takes around seven seconds, turn the ignition switch of your car back off for a little longer than three seconds, then do it again. After that turn your ignition switch back on to fully reset the airbag light. Once you start your car, your airbag light should turn on for around seven seconds before finally turning off.
Depends on the car. Most cars have to go to the dealer their is a reason the light came on. The tight is because of a malfunction when the air bag light is on the air bags will not work when needed. So it's best to have it checked as soon as possible.
