Why does it annoy people when someone scratches a chalk board?

I want the scientific reason please.

Any source of sound sends vibrations through the air, these funnel through your ear opening, down your ear canal, and to your eardrum, causing it to vibrate. Pitch is measured in frequency of sound vibrations per second. The higher the sound or pitch, the higher the vibrations. These vibrations "hit" your eardrum harder and faster, and move the tiny hairs in your ear canal harder and faster, causing pain.

Some people do it to get the attention when they squeal. Others it really annoys and the sound just irritates you

I think it is because of the amount of uncomfortable noises countering against each other.

Fingers on blackboard is a high-frequency waveform of hard surfaces moving with chaotic stick/slip motion - like drilling teeth.
