As above, I add, it is the last section of an experiment report. It goes after the results section and draws conclusions on the analysis results and also thus whether the ((oh, god this goes back!)) hypothesis, i.e. the title or what you are testing or trying to prove or disprove as given in the title, is fulfilled or not. In other words, whether the experiment confirms what you predicted or doesn't. Thanks for taking me down memory lane for that and good luck on your project!
An ending, something that wraps it all up. For example, on a regular 5 paragraph essay, the last paragraph would be the conclusion. It would state your final thoughts, and it would tell the reader what you want them to remember. If it were a persuasive essay, the conclusion would have a final call to action, what you want the reader to do.
