Here are some things to try: eat slowly and really enjoy your food, so you give your stomach enough time to tell your brain that it's full. Have a tossed salad (easy on the dressing) or a clear soup at the beginning of your meal. Eat 5 or 6 small meals instead of 3 large ones. Drink lots of water; it's good for you anyway. Eat good, healthful food that is full of nutrients instead of junk food that's just a bunch of empty calories. Avoid eating in front of the TV, where it's easy to eat more than you intend to.
