Why is it when a sneeze is "stuck", if you look at a light you then sneeze?

Numerous Stimuli from the light is associated with this action however, the exact mechanism of this action is not well understood. The mechanism is known as photic sneeze reflex and it enables you to close your eyes to prevent direct dangerous light to get past through the eyes. Only 3% of the population sneeze when they look into bright light! So I have heard(not sure if that % is totally accurate)
