I have a mac book pro, i have windows on it. I want a external hard drive to work with the windows part. what kind should i get?

My sister also has a Macbook Pro. We share a Western Digital Elements 1.5 TB External Hard Drive. What I did was partition the external hard drive to NTFS so Windows can read the files. The other partition was for the Apple file system. That way, we can both use the hard drive. There are very few USB-based external hard drives that do not work with Windows. Consider a Western Digital Elements Drive or Seagate's FreeAgent Series drives. People I know use either of the two.
