Do all birds have gizzards?

I know chickens do, but do small, song birds have them, as well?

No. Birds that eat mostly seeds have gizzards to help grind up the seeds they eat, since they can't chew. However, many birds do not eat seeds and do not have gizzards. Examples are predators (hawks, owls) and fruit-eating birds like parrots

your misinformed. all birds have gizzards. owls dont have crops but do have gizzards, they dont have teeth so the have to tare the prey into smaller pieces and pass it to the gizzard for further digestion. not all birds that have gizzards have to swallow rocks

Yes, all birds have gizzards and the gizzards of chickens, emus, turkeys, and also ducks are most prominent in cuisine. Poultry gizzards are some of the most popular foods throughout the world.

There are thousands of species of birds that are not poultry. Most if these have no gizzards. Hummingbirds, hawks, cockatoos, and swallows do not have gizzards, to name a few.
