What year did the british take over Acadia

The British took over Acadia in 1620. However it kept bouncing back and forth between French and British control. It was finally recaptured by forces loyal to Britain during the course of Queen Anne's War, and its conquest was confirmed by the Treaty of Utrecht of 1713.
