Hey I just turned 13 and was wondering if a 1:01.4 was a good time for running the 300m hurdles for the first time- literally.

I'm trying out for hurdles this year and all we've been doing are a couple of drills and watching some videos. We've already been timed for the 100m but I don't know anything about the 300m, so any advice about where I should be would be appreciated. Thanks!

A 1:01.4 is a good time for running the 300m hurdles for the first time literally. This is because the professional normally do it for about 40 to 42 seconds. With time and practice, you will be better.
