Who thinks the worlds going to end this 2012?

& why

No, because scientists have proven that the world is not going to end in 2012. The supposed "large" asteroid only comes around about every 300,000 years. Humans have only have been here for just a short time of that, so we will not see that. The supposed ice age will not happen again, the time is not right for that to happen. However there is a possibility that an influenza breakout of the spanish flu may occur but is not likely.

History.com has a really educational series online about this. Check it out. Basically, an alignment will happen between the Earth, the sun, and the Milky Way Galaxy on Winter Solstice. The Mayans (and others) predicted that this zodiacal alignment would bring great change. Whether that meant the end of the world is up to you.
