There are 2 good ways. The important thing is make sure the potatoes are thinly sliced and very well dried before you make them. With that said: There is a kitchen appliance called THE FRY DADDY..Fill the pot with the correct amount of oil and when ready, gently place potatoes in oil. Keep an eye on them as they fry up quickly. With spoon that comes with appliance, scoop out pot. and lay on paper towels to drain. Or, put sliced potatoes in plastic bag with olive oil. Coat potatoes well and place in lined parchment paper cookie sheet and bake till brown on one side, then turn potatoes over to brown on other side. Sprinkle with salt .
