What do you think the right age is to get a phone
I don't have one and my mom says I'm to young
Hi Bunbungirl,I finally got my first cell phone last summer, at the age of 66 years...and that seemed about right. Actually, I would gladly have postponed it for a few more years if I could get by with it - but really need to stay in touch while traveling around so much...
When a child is mature enough to get a phone, and preferably when he/she is old enough to pay for it. I have seen too many parents stuck with outragous cell phone bills.
When you can get a job and pay for it your self.
The right age for a child is when he can respond to the questions asked to him and has the ability to question on phone properly to the person concerned.
I think about 13-15 depending on trust and maturity:)!!..
I'm on the same boat as mom004.
16 is a pretty good age for a phone.
im thinking freashman year high school is full of activities and ur parent would be able to get ahold of u instantly
around 12 i got mine when i was seven though
It depends on how mature you are but I say 10
Either in middle school or high school
when u need one
I got mine @ 8, but I travel a lot away from my parents, I didn't get texting till 10
I got my first one at about age 10
asap. i got my first phone September 1,2011. i just got into middle school. so they thought the school "wasn't my type" but i love this school. life is too hard without a phone
i got mine around age 7-8 you could have one @ this age if your parents trust you with a phone and if you are responsible
