How is a Volcanic MOUNTAIN formed
A volcanic mountain is formed when a crack is formed on the earth's surface called a volcanic vent. The vent is formed in places where tectonic plates meet. When magma erupts and lava flows they solidify to form a solid rock around the vent. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volcano and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tectonic_plates for more details.
