Sometimes I ask harmless questions on here but they get removed. Why does this happen?

It's good that you asked because it will help you to know that its not just hurtful questions removed but also the inane (devoid of intelligence) useless ones too.
Just try rewording a completely different question that a person might actually ask or need to know the answer to.

It is not about that only, there are community guidelines for the questions to be asked. There are other types of questions that are against the guidelines like the poll questions and the personal questions.

Others dont like it or it is dirty is usually why that happens.

It actually doesn't matter that "others" do or don't like it. Only this sites Ask staff called moderators can remove a question. It will be because it violates guidelines that you can read.

I mean other people flag them if they dont like it so the question gets removed

Other people can flag all they want, but only a moderator makes the determination whether it really needs to go or not, based on the Community Guidelines.
