Catholicism have a variety of practices. They use prayer for the dead, they accept canonizations, they have sacred images which include things like candles, incense and water. They have a threefold ordained ministry which includes Bishops, Priests and Deacons.
Strongest religion in the world, with Islam and judism close behind. Very influential church, have a pope. Mass every sunday, holy book is called the bible. Believe that god sent his only son to live among us and preach the word of god, then die for our sins.
I'm actually a 14 year old catholic girl. But yes the answers before mine are correct. We also pray the rosary. It is a very important part of our church. We have reconciliation(other wise known as confession) wear you confess your sins to the priest. We have alter servers which help the priest during the service and instead of a youth group we have 'sunday school'. We have 7 sacraments in the catholic faith. We believe Jesus died on on the 3rd day rose from the dead. Catholic faith is a very powerful and fulfilling faith. We make the sign of the cross with holy water(in the name of the father the son and the holy spirit). And catholic churches do have many pictures of Mary. We pray to the saints and light candles and use incense. While other churches might serve 'grape juice' to drink as the blood of Jesus, our catholic church serves wine. Just like jesus did at the last supper. I hope this helped! :)
The Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church is the only Christian religion that can be traced and continued without cut from the time of Christ. The Pope is the universal head, the same rites are practiced all around the world. This is the religion that follows both tradition and the teachings in the true version of the bible. Catholics believe in one God, in three Persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The lordship of Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary; the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life ever lasting.
