Emo just means emotional so tell them that. Tell them to listen to your songs and the type of songs you do. yo do mainly pop songs and some blues and a little mixed. If they want to be like that let them be...they don't know what they're missing out on ;)

In my opinion, you should not struggle to make them stop thinking or saying that you are emo. Let them talk and don't argue with them. It will reach a point that they will see no need and they will stop.

I agree with RickyRick789 but I just wanted to say that I love your music and I am totally not a hater!! You are so talented and everyone I know thinks you are amazing. Maybe try to focus on all of the people who love you because there are always gonna be haters who just don't know you and judge people.
