How do I get my hair to stay straightened on a rainy day?

okay so tomorrow it's supposed to be really humid and rainy. I straighten my hair, but it's naturally really curly so it gets wavy like in the back. how can I keep my hair back there straight for the whole school day???? oh and maybe some quick hair style ideas for when it does get wavy????

An umbrella doesn't take humidity out of the air, it just keep raindrops off your head! Not a good answer.

Hairspray and a hood :D Don't use a lot though just in case it comes out. or possibly straighten it then in a pony tail. :P

on my straighter (wet to straight for 20 dollars at walmart last for years) it has a setting for humidity where even when I walk through the rain it stays straight :) and my hair is very curly to begin with.

Curls are cuter / prettier. Let your hair do what it wants to do.

An umbrella doesn't take the humidity out of the air. You probably don't have curly hair or you would know this.

well im a girl that has wavy hair and likes it straight but use hairspray gel or moose DONT cover your hair with a hoodie if u do then u will have your hair messed up all over the place all static standing up and crap so just use simple hair gels or something! (HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL!) U can use an umbrella but not all the time ok.

If you cover your hair with a lot of hairspray, the humidity will just make it sticky. An umbrella doesn't take the humidity out of the air. I have naturally curly hair and for me, the best answer has always been to use mousse (not moose--putting a big giant deer-like animal on your head will make you look silly), then put your hair in a bun or some kind of upsweep to control the ends. Use an umbrella to keep raindrops off your head (using a hoodie will just squash your hair and make it look worse), and run from the car to the building. Finally, remember that we all have trouble with our hair in times of high humidity, so don't worry about it too much.

First I would recommend a finishing cream or oil to smooth everything out and then finish with a good hairspray. Not one that makes your hair too hard though. One with a flexible hold. Obviously avoid getting it wet. Also make sure that your straighter gets hot enough to thoroughly straighten the hair all the way, especially if your hair is thick or coarse.
