I'm starting to get into meditation how can I clear my mind while doing it.

How can I avoid distractions?

The easiest way to achieve meditation is by controlling your thoughts. Practice on controlling your mind by concentrating on a single thought. You can place a flower or a candle in front of you and focus your mind to that object. Be patient. You will not achieve this on the fast attempt do it over and over again until you master how to control your thoughts.

Count backwards by multiples of 3 until you feel relaxed.
