On Microsoft word, how do you put something into 2 columns then halfway through change it back to1, I know how to make different columns but

when I do change it back to one then the whole thing changes back... pleas help!

When you select two column format there is an option to apply it to this point forward. When you want to switch back go to menu insert, break, section break. Then change the column format for that section.

i didn`t get your point , please give me more details or you can draw what you want on paper and i`ll tell you how to apply it to word
