Can I study with a degree in psychology in Texas with felonies and misdemeanors? How do I find out Texas laws in this?

I'm told by people I am wasting my time and if so I would like to change my academic program before I go any further. I am currently a year and a half in. any input would be useful thank you.

Practicing psychology with a record could be a challenge. I would re-consider this. At times, society can be a little unforgiving. Check with the state licensure board for psychology and social work before continuing.
