When were specacles evented

well i need to do a bookreport on specacles

Salvino D'Armate invented the firs glasses that you could wear! It was in Italy around 1284. Before that which was 1000 AD the first vision aid was a reading stone. It was just a glass sphere that you laid on top and it magnified things.
