Do you think that some police officers get their jobs to commit crimes and get by with it?!

There are police that feel like laws don't apply to them. I think it starts with little things like going through stop signs and red lights while on the job. Even if they get stopped in their own car, they just flash their badge and go one their way. Starts small like getting a free coffee from the local diner. Pretty soon they assume that they deserve the free coffee. Soon they start thinking that they deserve more. I'm not a cop myself..just my opinion from observing life.

I don't think so because the habit of committing crime comes up during their time as police officers and most often this habit is aggravated by something in their life or career.

It's interesting, the rate of behind-the-badge criminality. I'd like to see the rate compared to that of non-law-enforcement types.

Some times they do. But the most interesting thing is that they are all exposed in a way or other. There's no escape.

I'm sure they're not all that much different from politicians who do the same thing. They can hide more easily behind their position of trust. There is good and bad in any vocation, no exceptions.

We are still people! Some good some bad. I busted a dozen COPs in my career, cost me a job once because one was my supervisor, but would do it all over again. I'm I perfect, hell no, just honest enough to believe in the oath I took 3 1/2 decade ago!
