Newspaper for Gasoline Spill
I spilled gasoline in the trunk of my car. I solved the odor problem by laying newspaper over the carpet where it was spilled. The paper absorbed the odor and there was no stain to even see where it was spilled. The problem was solved!

You could do the newspaper thing and then get the carpets shampooed:)

Already shampooed, still smells so maybe some baking soda should clear up the order.

You can get rid of gasoline smell out for your car's carpet by first, cleaning out the car and removing any papers or wrappers. Second, rub baby oil on the area where the gas spilled helping reduce the odor. Then, follow the instructions on http://www.ehow.com/how_4587295_rid-gas-smell-car.html.

Is it on your mat? or carpet If it's on your mat, you can put into he washing machine on delicate. If it's on the carpet you may have to get your car detailed.
