how can I set a 10 gallon fish tank cover if I got the heater and filter all plugged in already?

I'm assuming your wondering about the cord and hoses, right? On the back lip of the tank hood should be some places where you will see some grooves in the shape of a "u" or a square you should be able to break out these spots with a utility knife and a pliers. These will be the spots where the hoses and cords stick out.
