Whats the difference between pink eye and red eye?

My friend was out the other day and he said that they told him he had red eye, but I was too busy wondering what red eye even is.

Well, Pink eye is a sickness of a bacteria in your eye.

Red eye usually refers to a airplane flight between 12 midnight and 8am...you get the red eye from less sleep, get it?

pink eye is when your eye is pink and red eye is where your eye is red
