We want guys to be in touch with their feelings, and then when they do, we complain. It could be that this guy has some problems with depression. Regardless of whether or not it is comfortable or convenient for you, if this guy is a friend you owe it to him to be supportive.
Sounds like he is very emotional. Sometimes medication is the best way to treat depression or counseling to discuss issues. If he is you friend, why don't you ask him why he does that, and tell him you are upset to see him in distress. Tell him nicely that men constantly showing such expressions can turn off relationships Ask him what he thinks he needs to do to control his feelings and if he has no answers, tell him professional help can work for him.
Despite the negative opinions of a man crying; I simply say, They are humans to with the capability to hurt. As for anyone who cries a lot, there may be honest concern that an issue with depression is at the root of this behavior. What a concerned individual can do is have a sit-down with the person and suggest (with kindness) they go speak with their Dr or mental health professional. Depression has been treated like something someone can control on their own way to long. The person suffering from this issue is in a personal Hell complicated by the attitude and lack of education within society.
Did this just start or has he been doing this for a while maybe he lost his job or did something inappropriate idk but definitely agree with the majority that answered your question speak to him first and if you don't get anywhere then seek professional help asap.good luck

Man is so general, your man, dad, a neighbor, or friend? So, what to do if a man keeps crying all the time, this seems secondary to your not liking it, in this isn't something you can fake, so the who really matters. A friend and you can start distancing yourself, but personal relationships have expectations. So, it comes down to what you want to do, and how to best do it. To answer your question in general I'd say, tell him your not comfortable with the situation and for him to go to a different confidant. You'd be being honest with him and true to yourself.
