well just try 2 get good grades at school and DO your chores then tell them that u r being good at school show them your grades and then just tell them that you deserve a present for being a good kid and that you gave them good grades or you were good so you deserve something back. ( it worked with me one time)and if you dont get good grades just try 2 be sweet with your mom/dad and maybe they can give you an iphone
DON'T beg, don't keep asking. That is as annoying for them as much as it is for you to hear your parents tell you a hundred times to clean your room.
My son constantly wants an iPad, or an iTouch, or an iPhone. We truthfully don't have the money. Be sensitive and understand if your parents can't afford it. Offer to pay for part of it from birthday money, allowance, or doing small jobs around the house/apartment.
Surprisingly, parents are old enough to think for themselves and make their own decisions. You can stand on your head, or talk til your are blue in the face, but you will not change their minds. If you are old enough for an iPod or iPhone, go earn some money to buy it and pay for it every month. That is the only way to "convince" them. Good luck.
