Are cooked beef neck bones OK for dogs?

Report as

Only if they've been cooked enough to soften the bones, so they won't splinter.

They are okay for dogs if they have been well cooked. If they are not well cooked they could cause splinter to the dog since not all dogs can easily digest the bones.

Raw bones are best to feed dogs....cooked bones splinter. But only non-weight bearing bones. Such as ribs, neck. Beef leg bones and hip bones are to hard and can break your dogs teeth. I raw feed my dogs during the fall-winter months. ( hubby is a deer hunter nothing goes to waste.) look into the B.A.R.F diet for dogs.
