i personally think it's because A) people in the USA are getting cold hearts, and B) they think he's too young to be popular, and C) people just want someone to hate and they chose him, and D) people just want to be mean, and E) all of the above.
personally i think if people give him time to mature in terms of vocals and personality he could become alot better. i'm not into him but i don't hate him either...

I used to, until I learned more about him. He actually has a good heart, and does a lot for others. Don't care for his music, but I do have a lot of respect for the kid.
He's been exploited by modern media. People don't hate him, realistically they dont even know him. It like dislike for kardashians or jersey shore. Viewers don't know these people but judge them based on how the show portray the cast. To some degree he is a victim of his environment. Careful what you wish for. It must be nice to be rich but I never want to be famous.

Here is something about hate or haters I learned. The person who hates someone usually wants what that person wants. I think this Justin Bieber hate is exactly like this Kony 2012 situation. A mass group of people made some statement and everyone else jumped on the band wagon.
The little girl has no talent at all. There are more 5 or 9 year olds that like him, then there are teenagers. Us, Justin Bieber haters are so not jealous of him. How can we be so jealous of that!? Once a celebrity reaches a certain height of stardom, haters are instantly formed for no reason. It happened with Twilight, Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift. Harry Potter didn't get too many because the Christians already filled the position. I'm willing to bet at least 98% of them haven't even seen the movies or read the books. But back to JB; he isn't that bad, he's just needs to spread his cheez thinner...
If I could rid the world of anything, it would be "HATE." There may be reasons people don't care for or don't like JB, but "hate" is a very strong word. However, having said that, people of my generation (I';m 53-same age Michael Jackson would have been), the remark made by JB that he was "going to be the next Michael Jackson" put us in a tailspin. It really didn't have so much to do with his singing, but that he had the attitude that he could even get CLOSE to the likes of a one-time "King of Pop" phenom like Michael. It was hard to overlook the "tude" to see the "talent." Graciousness and thankfulness for a talent you've been given is what people like to see...unlike a cocky attitude, especially at that age. Young man has much to learn.
