Why is blood blue but red when I bleed?

Report as

Blood is always red when you bleed. However, it appears to be blue when it is seen through the skin. You can get some more information about this from your physician.

Blood is NEVER blue. It is ALWAYS red. That's a scientific fact, no matter what your third grade teacher told you.
