Different people use different ways to help them fall asleep fast. Others will listen to some soothing music, others will prefer a quite environment and others will try to keep their mind blank and relax.
Try to do something boring right before bed. For me it's math or science HW (my least favorite subjects) they bore me to death and I get tired quickly. For me it's not good because then I end up falling asleep instead if doing the HW but it might work for you :). Give it a shot!
