What can I do to stop my head from sweating so much?

Report as

Head sweating is said to be a chronic problem that is caused by an overactive sympathetic nervous system for which there is little known cause. To get rid of head sweating, experts advise the adoption of power of relaxation which is natural remedy with zero risk. One cannot control the movement of the nervous system but can do something to control its over-active malfunctioning by staying calm most, if not all the time. By doing this, anything that triggers its super-sensitivity to be hyper-active can be prevented. The other way to avoid head sweating is by controlling your diet by avoiding fatty foods as they make someone perspire easily. Instead opt for foods that are rich in nutrients. I have the exact same issue. It's horrible-especially for a girl. If there is an ounce of humidity in the air, sweat runs from my temple area like a faucet! It's horribly embarrassing. I'm a vegetarian and eat very healthy, low fat foods. Excess sweating can be diagnosed as hyper-hydrosis. I have tried antiperspirant made for stage actors to wear on their face, that didn't work. There is only one almost sure-fire way to help the issue, and that's with Botox shots in the area where the issue happens. It isn't covered by insurance, but if it was, I would totally do it!

Yep I know exactly what u mean. It gets so bad that if it's hot at all in the morning I can't even do anything with my hair because I just start sweating. It's horrible :(

Me too! My hair is naturally wavy, and when I start sweating it gets all frizzy and I get 'wings' on the side of my head. And at the gym?! Gosh, forget it! You would think I had just dunked my head in a pool. It;s nice to know I'm not the only one! It doesn't even have to be hot for it to happen...just humid!

Also, I know that excess head sweating can be a sign of hypothyroidism, so if you have other symptoms like sleepiness or weight gain, you may want to have a blood test done.

Before we must understand why you are sweating so much. Food? Too much weight? Your wealth situations? Alchool ? In any case we haven't any product for this problem.
It's better to have a blood exam..
