How did people sell the moonshine during the Prohibition?

Report as

The Kennedy family had an extensive distribution network with connections to powerful politicians. The millions the family made allowed them to get into politics as well.

Moonshine was and is basically sold person to trusted person.

The same way that leafy green substances are sold today-VERY quietly! Many of the bars & clubs during Prohibition had certain knocks or signals to indicate that you were "cool" & had come to drink. Corrupt gov't had a hand in it as well-police & prosecutors took bribes from the moonshiners. Prohibition didn't work back in the day, & prohibition of leafy green substances TODAY will never succeed. During both time periods, good people were considered "criminals" and sentenced to incredible amounts of time for "defying" the law. Well, when a law is WRONG, you HAVE to disobey it! The word of the people should come before the tyranny of our government.
