I wish I had read some of the sites that reviews Jenny Craig and some of the other weight -loss programs. I saw the ad on television that it was free to join Jenny Craig and Jenny's cuisine would be the only cost. When I met with the sales consultant at Jenny Craig, she told me that it cost $300 to join, and that joining without paying a fee was a 30-day membership only applied to those who need to lose 10 pounds or less. Like a fool I put the $300 on the credit card. After one month and losing 12 pounds, I had to stop doing Jenny Craig due to the cost of the Jenny cuisine. I am going to try to keep dieting on my own and lose another 28 pounds.
The food was the good, and the program works. I found the bait and switch advertising used by Jenny Craig to be dishonest. The sales consultant I spoke to at Jenny Craig was misleading about the true cost. Aside from the dishonest form of advertising, the program works for those who can really afford it.
The price to join Jenny Craig isn't too expensive, their current promotion is 20 pounds for 20 dollars. The catch is that you have to buy your food from them and that is where it can get expensive. You can find more information here: http://www.jennycraig.com/
