Forrest Gump was filmed throughout Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The part of the movie where Forrest was waiting on the bus and chatting up the ladies was actually filmed in Savannah, Georgia. Forrest Gump inspired an actual global chain of restaurants. Forest Gump Film Locations: Savannah GA, Several towns in South Carolina, North Carolina, University of S. California, Los Angeles and Hollywood CA, Maine and Vermont New England, Arizona and Monument Valley Utah.
