Is it wrong when a teacher tells you, you cant speak your language

i think but maybe im just thinking wrong

Report as

It is wrong of her to tell you that in most situations. No one can prevent you from speaking your native language.

That said, you cant speak to your teacher or most fellow students in your language simply because they wont know what you are saying and then it would be rude.

What language? You don't seem to have to firm a grasp on english, that I do know. Your question doesn't really make too much sense the way it is written. Is the teacher saying you CAN or CAN'T speak this so called language?

Mandarin is actually the "hardest" language to learn, and the nuances of Arabic are also very difficult for a non-native speaker. I know many people who learned esl and they agree it's pretty easy, because our word structure and alphabet are so simplified. The only thing that may be tricky is our sentence structures, because they differ from the normal sentence structures of other languages.

She may not know English very well or you might be stuck. But don't worry, everyone has problems with a teacher or with a class so don't worry! :)

Maybe he means no Spanish spoken in his class because he doesn't understand that language or he simply prefers that everyone speak one language, English, while in his class to avoid any confusion. I don't think it's wrong of him saying that under those circumstances, but if he has no real reason, then yes that is wrong of him.
