Is tanning just for women?

Im a male and like to tan once in a while (like once a month) but when i go i feel like a creep and get embarrassed.. Should i feel this way?

Hey...if you want to go and tan...GO FOR IT! There's no reason to deny yourself something that you like or makes you feel good. I've heard the warmth from those tanning beds feels great on an achy back. If anybody gives you grief over it...ignore them!

That is society that is making you feel like that. If you know why you're going, then that's all that matters. I have tanned B4, but I much more prefer to sit in the parking lot and wait for my woman to get done tanning. There are some hotties comin in and outta there :)

I have got to remember to stop taking a drink as I read your answers...coffee, tea, water...it all ends up coming out my nose cause I get to laughing so hard!

Tanning is for everyone. No you shouldn't feel creepy or embarrassed, more guys go than you'll ever know because they feel the same as you and find it necessary to hide it. My boyfriend goes every once and a while, and I don't think anything different of him. And like you he thinks it makes him look weird or less manly.. when in all reality it doesn't change a thing except he gets a tan =)

In my opinion, in general, no one should go to tanning beds. A tan represents somebody who spends time outdoors in the sun. As a surfer I'm tan in the summer and pale in the winter due to wearing a wetsuit.
