My kids are hyper and his is calm. His son is not happy about my kid coming over and invading his space. How can I smooth thing out?

I'm with someone that has a 10 year old son and I have a 6 year daughter old and a 5 year old son.

He is a great kid just not use to this idea. I really love his dad and don’t want him not to like me.

To smooth things out with the kids, you need to slow down on any changes caused. The kids can feel unsettled, when changes they are not used to are piled on them. You need to find ways for the kids to experience real life together by taking them to a theme park, eating out together and finding solutions together. Get to love and understand the kid and your kids will do the same.

I'd say if you were in a marriage or he was the kids don't like seeing their parent with someone else. Or if they've seen lots of different relationships come and go that could affect their behavior. Just go slow and don't push
