Does watching creepy videos like torn dead bodies or blood etc have bad influence? If yes, how do they effect?

Lately i watched such a video with guys face cut into half and it said not for heart patients, watch only if u r strong enough bla bla, so i was wondering what kind of effect do they have? One probably doesnt want to show such thing to kids.
