Anyone know longterm effects of coumadin?

Coumadin/Warafin is used to help people who suffer from heart disease or heart disease related illnesses. Since this medication is used to decrease blood clotting abilities, one of the major effects of Coumadin is possible hemorrhage, especially of tiny tissue and organs.It may be best to speak with the prescribing physician to find out the more specific long term effects. Coumadin remains in the system for up to at least a week after it has been discontinued, so therefore it is important to be aware of all negative drug interaction related to the drug, even OTC drugs such as aspirin.
