Is there a mod for Minecraft that allows you to see where mobs can spawn?

I saw the adamzonetopmarks video but they only had downloads for Beta 1.8 and 1.9! I need one for release 1.1. does anyone know the name of the modder, or the forum name? I couldn't understand them.

There is a Mod for Minecraft that allows you to see where mobs can spawn. It is known as a Spawner GUI 1.2.3 Mod. It adds a Graphic user Interface to all mob spawners that will allow you to pick what you want. It is compatible with all mobs except those with special conditions. You can download it at www.minecraftmine.org.
