Why is marijuana illegal all it does is make you relaxed,hungry,and make you laugh a lot?

Ever seen "Reefer Madness"? The gov't still operates on what this 1936 movie depicts, which is all just propaganda. Marijuana prohibition will never succeed just like alcohol prohibition was a real bust, & criminalizing an herb causes more damage to people than smoking this benign herb ever did! You can't OD on it-its impossible to smoke that much! The only real risk is to the contents of our refrigerators! People who just toke tend to be far less violent than those who use harder drugs like cocaine or heroin, or even legal prescription drugs like Xanax or Restoril. The artificial stuff, like K2 or Spice, can be a real risk if mixed with booze(a legal drug!) or other drugs, but people smoke it because the gov't puts us in prison for possessing the REAL thing! If you like to read, check out "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", by Jack Herer. Its THE definitive book on marijuana, why it was criminalized, its effects, and its many other uses than just smoking it. It has proven medical benefits, such as pain relief(I didn't say it would eliminate the pain), it helps with nausea.& it spurs hunger, which is a GOOD thing for someone sick from chemo or from a disease like hepatitis C.

Horrible question. That is just further perpetuating the stoner stereotype. Instead, maybe mention the medical benefits, which studies are proving to be more and more, the way it can unlock your mind if used correctly. I am very pro-pot, when used it the proper ways. Your question proves your ignorance towards it. Pot can be very demotivational and fog the mind of teens and those using it just to get "high". If you want to promote the benefits, then do some research and actually find out what they are.

Glad you answered, really am...btw love your profile pic!!!! Doberman is my dream dog!!!!! its been my dream dog ever since i was little...my dad had two growing up...im waiting on the right time to get one, soon i hope

I'm glad someone shares my view :) And, thank you. She is actually a German Pinscher. Rare breed, but soooo worth it to track down a good breeder. She looks tough, but she is a wussy. They are very much soft family dogs. Do some research on them, you may find it fits your needs better than a Doberman.
