no the sun is a star however if jupiter was about 12 times larger it could ignite and become a star itself

yup, jupiter is under the classification of brown dwarfs. sort of half planet, half star.

not excactly but youre right it could become a star but it would not be a brown dwarf it would cause a nebula and becom in this case

No it's not a star. It's what they want you to think. But really it's a planet with aliens inside but the heat and all that hot jazz is there protection so they are safe inside but so hot outside that no one would attack them ^.^

It only appears larger due to its proximity. Other, farther away stars have a greater mass.

actually, yes, the sun is, in fact, a planet. it's inhabited by genius isolationists that created a large, flaming force field around the planet so no one could get to them. scientists just made up the whole thing about it being a star.

8 Planets - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto Is No Longer a Planet because It's so very Small .
