Life has lots of these things. Figure out something fun to do AFTER you've completed your project (or at least made a significant amount of progress if it's not due soon). You'll have something good to look forward to.
kimkay is right. If it is a very big project, divide it into smaller segments and reward your self with a small incentive every time you finish a segment. Plan something big for the end. Also, find something, anything interesting about the project. If it is a real snooze fest of a topic, put your own little spin on it, find a segue and take a little trip into something that DOES interest you. Don't forget to return to the main topic and finish the project's requirements, though. Your teacher will be impressed. I am assuming here that your project is a school project simply because there are so many schoolwork Qs on here on Sunday. If it's not a school project, forget everything I said after "kimkay is right", lol.
