How do you delete messages on Facebook,not archive, delete. can you empty your inbox like an email on Facebook? (not one by one)

To permanently delete messages on Facebook, first, open the conversation and then select "Delete Messages" from the drop-down menu. You can select "Delete All" to permanently remove all the conversation history from your messages.

on the phone you can select the whole conversation and delete it you just have to select the person that you messaging and hold down and select delete whole conversation

If you have an iPod Touch, you just slide the little arrow on the right of the message and there is a button you push that says delete.
