I have a area in my yard that floods when it rains, are there any types of plants i can put there that won't die?

You can plant astilbe, cardinal flower, sedge, inkberry, sweetspire, sweet and swamp azaleas, rose mallow, summersweet, hibiscus, European cranberry bush viburnum, leucothoe, white spruce, giant rhubarb, candelabra primula flowers and black gum.
