Change in pressure causes wind. Wind results from a horizontal disparity in air pressure and since the sun heats diverse parts of the Earth differently, causing pressure differences, the Sun is viewed as the driving force for most winds.

Wind The simplest explanation would be a balloon. If you blow up a balloon (high pressure) then let the end go, it'll fly around the room by the "wind" it's creating until it stabilizes with the outside (low pressure) air.
