Your body absorbs the water from gatorade, but its full of sugar. I only drink it after a really long workout or baseball game. Water's the best to me.

Well i agree but my mom like me drinking Gatorade and Powerade because she said it was healthy but I know its not and I can't really drink city water without getting sick because I moved from the country where i got well water but I can taste the bleach and chlorine in the water

You should try the bobble bottle. its about 10 to 15 dollars at target or old navy or you could by bottled or a brita filter.

No, because Gatorade has calories and could prevent you from losing weight.

Water is essential. While Gatorade and Powerade have a little water in them (of course, to get all that other stuff mixed in), they aren't going to keep you constantly hydrated.

See, these sports drinks are better than water at only 1 time: after a workout. They provide electrolytes to your body. However, they also have sugar in them. You should be drinking water more than them and only 1 sports drink each day at the max.

You can get free water out of the tap unless you happen to live somewhere like me where the tap water has chlorine in it and no filtration system. It tastes so gross, my cat won't even tolerate it. I want to buy a Brita Filter but it's going to have to wait until I can afford it.

Sport drinks such as Gatorade are meant to give you the extra nutrients that your body is most quickly expelling whilst you exersize. So unless you are working out/ playing a sport, then drink water.
