Tsunami - big, destructive wave usually caused by earthquake activity

Monsoon - very heavy rains somtimes lasting for many weeks

Hurricane and typhoon - basically different names for the same thing. Tho typhoon is sometimes used for tornados as well. Heavy destructive roating winds and rains lasting for several hours will a lull in the middle called the Eye.
